The family and I watched the launch of the Space Shuttle Discovery this afternoon. It was a nice birthday gift to America on her 230th birthday. It got me to thinking about all of the technological contributions that America has made to the world which, in my opinion, is one of many indicators of the greatness of our nation.Here are a few of the wonderful inventions created by Americans over the past 2 centuries that have made life better throughout the world (in no particular order).
