Old Lakers never die. They just win basketball championships.Congratulations to Shaquille O'Neal, Gary Payton, Pat Riley and the Miami Heat for beating the Dallas Mavericks to win the NBA championship. Miami was definitely the better team and, without question, deserved to win.
I just hope Shaq has the class not to let his hatred of Kobe and the Lakers organization get the better of him. Otherwise we'll have to hear him gloat until the end of time. Or, at least until Kobe can win a championship (which might never happen again).

How 'bout some love for Dwyane Wade- that guy's a monster! Hope you're having fun in D-land today.
D-Wade played the starring role that should have been played by Kobe. But, he was awesome and deservedly won the Finals MVP trophy.
As a Laker fan, I wish Shaq and Kobe could have put their egos to the side long enough to realize they needed each other. Well, it seems Shaq found another Kobe. Unfortunately for us, there is no other Shaq.
